SCS Pharma Consult ("SCS", "we", "us") respects the privacy of everyone who visits this website or contacts us through it. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
What we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it to us directly — we do not collect personal data passively through tracking or advertising cookies. The data we collect depends on how you contact us:
- Client Intake form: company or organisation name, country of incorporation, company website, nature of business, contact person's name and job title, official email address, and phone/WhatsApp number.
- Quick contact form: your name, email or WhatsApp number, service of interest, and the content of your message.
- Direct contact: if you email or WhatsApp us directly, we hold whatever information you choose to include in that message.
Why we collect it
We use the information you submit solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry and understand the scope of what you need
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and engagement documentation
- Deliver the regulatory, business structuring, supply chain, or advisory services you engage us for
- Maintain records of client communications for professional and administrative purposes
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing purposes beyond communicating with you directly about your own enquiry.
How your data is handled
Form submissions on this site are processed through Netlify, our website hosting provider, which receives and stores submitted form data on our behalf so we can respond to you. If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices, which are outside our direct control.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic patterns — which pages are visited, and roughly how many people visit — so we can improve the site. Google Analytics only runs, and only sets cookies, after you actively accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit; if you decline or take no action, no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google. Your choice is remembered on your device so you are not asked again.
When accepted, Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level, derived briefly from your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 discards after determining that location rather than storing it), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with the personal data you submit through our forms.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will show the cookie banner again on your next visit.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, deliver any engagement you contract us for, and meet our own record-keeping and legal obligations. Data related to a completed engagement may be retained for a longer period where professional or regulatory record-keeping requires it.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, request that inaccurate data be corrected, request deletion of data we no longer have a legitimate basis to hold, and object to how your data is being used. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Ghana's Data Protection Commission if you believe your data has been mishandled.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or applicable law change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
